Feb. 28th, 2010 01:23 amThis weekend was full of badly written angels. Precisely fallen ones.
First were "novellas" - of course the slash variety and then Fallen (2007).
I rolled my eyes so much, in both cases.
The movie... was bad. Really bad. All the flat characters and bad dialogues and heaps of cliches. I got the knee jerk at Camael ... sama. "Where is your Mika-chan?" (too much of kaori yuki? YESSSSS, MY PRECIOUSSSSS).
But I really lolled at our translations. Why the fuck the word monastery havent been translated?! Its in the dictionary. I found it, they should too. And "Lucifer Morningstar" (oh, srsly?!). And, oh, Lucifer, his actor was really bad choice, again the feeling "where the fcuk is malcom? his dad here and he isnt? XD)
The "books" ... snickers. It looked like something I wrote at fifteen (minus the slash, of course, in the stone age of my life, i havent had clue bout slash), full of badasses who havent been so bad, only grumpy. Full of conflicts which were really ridiculuus (and soooo SEVERE lol). And the end... snicker.
It is so bad to be reminded of my shitty writing and to know that this sell O_o. Oh, nou, I am sooo wounded. (but some of the CGI pics were really cute)
